Sunriver Oregon Home Report
La Pine Oregon Home Report

If you are looking for the perfect place to cast a fly Hosmer Lake may be the end of your search. Hosmer Lake is 160 acres of water that is surrounded by peaceful beauty. Depth is only 8 to 10 feet in most places, but the water is cold even in the middle of summer, it is not unusual to find snow on the banks even in June or early July.
Hosmer is known as one of Oregon's quiet waters; this fly fishing lake sees lots of canoes/kayaks and is ideal for drift boats, float tubes and pontoon boats for accessing the prime Central Oregon fly fishing water. Hosmer does allow electric motors but it does not allow gasoline engines but any motor must be OFF when fly fishing.
auty as the scenery does.
