Tonight I spent the evening cruising through some of the photos from our vacation in December. Dad sent me copies of his photos on CD today and it really brought back that week just over a month ago.
Our vacation was wonderful, Mike and I have very little time together we only have the opportunity to dine together about twice a week, we only sleep in the same bed twice a week and we talk on the phone a lot but nothing takes the place of the time we spend on vacation.
On vacation we try and spend as much time just hanging out together. We really like each other, we obviously love each other but always tease that we like each other even more. You see, we took a vow to always love each other, it said nothing about liking each other.
Ok, back to the photos - this one photo really struck me and will most likely sit on my desk for a long time to come. This vacation, we took a cruise on Royal Caribbean, I am sure most of you have heard their tag line "Get Out There."
Tonight between photos I cruised through a few blogs and came across Margaret Woda's post about the card with a bike, then moments later hit this photo - Get Out There. Tonight has been a constant message - Get Out There - To Make It Go You Gotta Pedal - wow - I am pedaling faster now and am going to Get Out There!
Ok... I am heading to bed - So tomorrow I can Get Out There!
Maybe we should all pedal and get out there!

Thesa! That is a LOVELY picture and I can see why you'd want to see it all the time.
Thesa - It is very important to go out there and meet people, that is where the real connection happens.
Love the picture.
Thesa, what a treat! We get to see your cute hubby and his beautiful wife vacationing together. Those times are so precious.........thanks for sharing.
So? where did your cruise take you?
Thesa, I love seeing your more personal posts in the midst of your great localism posts. It adds a nice touch. And in every one of your photos you look like a completely different person!
Missy - yep getting out there is my new step - to success - an hour a day - meeting and greeting now matter what it takes. Got a listing today with it.... Yippee
Joseph - thanks for visiting - nice seeing you here again
Frank - it is funny how we can see it if we open our eyes
Karen - personally I hate the photo of me - but I do love what it reminds me of - not just great time - but to get out there and do it
Jennifer - thanks -
Neal - you crack me up - being married to a long haul trucker means a lot of time away from each other ;o)
Linda - The photo is in Hattii - it is beautiful - thanks
Margaret - you are welcome - thank you for posting your wonderful post
Dan - you keep running - trust me - I doubt I actually pedal anytime soon :o)
Teri - We went Western Caribbean - Hatti, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay and Cozemel - it was our second Western Caribbean cruise -
Joanne - I hear that a lot about always looking different - funny thing is I always think I look the same - fat and sassy J
Thesa, great inspiration! Often, we have goals to make $$, but rarely we ask ourselves "why". Most people are not motivated by figures in their bank accounts or investment statements. Most of us are motivated by things, vacations, ability to spend quality time with loved ones, and so on.
So, you found your "why". CONGRATS!
Thesa - I really liked this message. We can't expect things to happen if we are not willing to get out there and pedal to make it go. Great post!
