Central Oregon Real Estate Info: Crater Lake

Crater Lake

Although fishing season opens this weekend the snow has not melted enough to get up to Crater Lake - You should be able to visit this glorious park by early June.... so as a teaser here are last summer's pics of Crater Lake.  When you are going to be in Oregon this is a must see... the beauty will astound you.

Beautiful - Crater Lake is a great place to visit!  Sometimes I forget it is in our own backyard - thanks for bringing back to the front!

You've brought back a memory for me!  After I was grown and gone my mom and dad use to talk about their visits to Crater Lake...they had a small trailer and were fortunate enough to spend a lot of time traveling the U.S. in their retirement years.  Crater Lake was one of their favorites!  Thanks for the jog in memory!

Okay, I really need to make it back there someday.  I guess I need to do it after June if I want to see Crater lake though.

Thesa - We spent a week at Diamond Lake many, many years ago.  That whole area is just breathtaking.  The blue water @ Crater always reminded me of the Caribbean. It really is spectacular.

Thesa:  Such an incredible sight.  The deep blue waters of Crater Lake surely make for a spectacular sight.  How is the water level at Crater Lake?  Is it falling like some of the other lakes around the country?  I surely hope not.  Thanks so much for sharing.  Take care...

Thesa,

Crater Lake is a very special place to my husband and I. He took me there on our first date together. Our date lasted four days and the rest is history:):) We took our daughter and nephew there this last summer when we were headed home from our vacation together. Both of them loved the beautiful view and the color of the water. See You Soon..

Thesa.... I have always loved pictures of this lake... between the background and the water itself...incredible and breathless.

Thesa:  I drove from Fort Worth to Portland some years ago.  If I would have had any clue as to just how beausiful Crater Lake was, I would have stopped.  The problem with that may have been... that once I saw it... I might have wanted to just stay there.  Take care...

Thesa, I LOVE this place. Haven't been there in years, but the pictures really show how awesome and beautiful it is. Hmmmmmmmm, wonder where those old slides are. ;-)

Are you anywhere near Diamond Lake? I thought that was spectacular as well.

Hey I'm looking for property by Diamond Lake Oregon.  An acre would do.  With or without a cabin.  Anybody know of any?

Bill - it would be easiest if you could send me an email - I could then assist you better - the Diamond Lake area is mostly National Forest but there are a few exceptions... my email is
