Wow. I can honestly say I've never seen a home even remotely like that in the Daytona Beach area! LOL. But Viva la Difference! I have no appreciation for the beach. But I would LOVE to have a house near some mountains, on a lake. =)

Thesa,

A few months ago I was reading the Realtor magazine and they were saying how popular these log homes have become...interesting architecture...great idea for homes....we probably won't be seeing them around here but it seems to be a popular thing...everything in the home was built from the wood used to build the cabin.

I love this home, Thesa. It's a little small for me, but the waterfront is gorgeous. I have no idea, btw, how you set up a slide show of your photos. That is pretty darn cool!!

My husband and I are talking about buying a home in Oregon or Washington. I've remodeled almost everything I can remodel in our present home, and he says we should start socking away money for our second home. Our retirement home. And we might do it this year. We were thinking oceanfront, but it gets pretty chilly along the coast. As long as it's on the water and within driving distance of the ocean, it would work. I'm going to continue to check out your blogs, too.
